I enjoy the awkward, I laugh too easily, and I write. I live in Silicon Valley.

Why I started this blog: I used to regularly post to a Livejournal, but that habit fell away over the last decade. But I remember being happier with my writing when I was posting casually every day or every week. I recently started using Facebook again, but I find the format doesn’t suit my writing style; I often feel bombarded with the minutiae of others’ lives, and I am bothered by the drive for likes which seems to promote tiny posts from everyone. I’m not big on the tiny posts. I need substance, most of all from myself. So here I am.

And yes, I realize this will be awkward if you like or tweet about this.
